BEYONCE STOPS CONCERT TO SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO EXCITED FAN

The Halo star was performing on stage as part of her Mrs Carter World Tour when she looked down and told the excited fan: 'You got the sign and everything, what's your name? How do you spell it?'

She then proceeded to sing directly to her, before adding that she hoped she had said her name correctly, and kissing her on the hand.

'Incredible, when is that ever going to happen again', the bewildered fan told the Birmingham Mail the morning after.

Describing what had happened, the City University pupil from Leamington said: 'I was wearing a birthday badge which she noticed early on in the show, she kind of nodded in acknowledgement.'

'I can't believe she stopped the show for me. I was leaning over the barrier holding her hand and not realising the camera was recording, everyone around me was going crazy', she added.

The freelance journalist has been inundated with messages and requests for interviews after she posted the video on her Instagram page.

Shehnaz, who has seen the singer 22 times in concert, and her five friends had been upgraded to the VIP arena earlier in the evening and had a front row spot for the show.
