ROC-A-FELLA RECORDS CO-FOUNDER HAS NEW HOME
Damon Dash, the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder who is perhaps more famous for blowing his entire $50 million fortune, allegedly trashed and abandoned his upstate mansion. But he may have found a tidy new place downtown.
Dash — who, according to a lawsuit, owes $162,000 in back rent on his former manse, although he blamed the landlord for reneging on a deal — was recently seen in a Lower East Side luxury building where rents range from $2,550 to $5,500 a month.
According to pagesix,His lawyer, Gregg Pinto said: “Mr. Dash is in LA and not available for comment. He moves around a lot, but I know that he likes to stay near his galleries and the Poppington Gallery located at 60 Orchard St.”
