NICKI MINAJ RESPONDS TO KENDRICK LAMAR DISS

Nicki Minaj, 30, proved that she was a good sport last week when she publicly supported Ellen DeGeneres for dressing like her on Halloween. Then on Nov. 3 she struck again when the folks over at Power 105.1′s Breakfast Club asked the young rapper why she wasn’t on Kendrick Lamar‘s list of talented people he’s “tryin’ to murder” — a list that included Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, and many more prominent rappers. According to Nicki — who lashed out with a profane rant — it was probably just a giant oversight.

Though much of the interview focused on whether or not Nicki has been fully committed to her rapping as of late, Kendrick leaving her out of the “Control” list of rappers good enough to kill did come up. Though it didn’t seem to phase Nicki, who answered 105.1′s questions with her token mix of humor and profanity.

“He may be one of those respectful gentlemen that probably felt like, ‘I don’t want to say a female’s name,’” she said. “Or maybe he just don’t think the kid is ill. But the kid knows the kid is ill, so I don’t need to be on nobody’s d**k.”

Kendrick — from Los Angeles — also stirred the pot by referring to himself as the “King of New York” on “Control,” but again, Nicki just laughed this off with a very profanity-laden tirade that she later claimed was all in good fun.

“I’m the Queen of New York; I’m the King of New York,” Nicki said. “Let me tell you why: platinum albums. Albums. Plural. Number one in five motherf**king countries. Don’t play with me. You better respect my motherf**king gangsta, b**ch. When you got an album that goes number one in Japan, the UK, Australia, America and Canada at the same motherf**king time, then you can speak my motherf**king name.”

Sounds pretty intense, right? Not so fast, according to Nicki. She took to Twitter to laugh off her response, which to be fair, sounds way worse in writing than it did on the air.
