CHIMAMANDA'S 'AMERICANAH' NAMED BBC'S 2013 BEST BOOK
A book written by award-winning Nigerian author, Chimamanda Adichie, 'Americanah' has been named by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) as the 2013 Best Book.
The reputable broadcast medium recently released its top 10 books in the outgoing year and the Nigerian claimed the number one spot on the list.
Chimamanda was recently featured in Beyonce's album, which hit the market few days ago and broke iTunes record and also went ahead to hit the platinum few days after release.
'Americanah' beat the likes of 'The Good Nurse' by Charles Graeber, 'The Flamethrowers' by Rachel Kushner and 'The Good Nurse' by Charles Graeber to grab the BBC's 2013 Best Book' number one position.
