LOVEBIRDS DAMILOLA ADEGBITE,CHRIS ATTOH NOMINATED FOR SCREEN NATION AWARDS


The Drums are rolling to usher in the ninth edition of the Screen Nation Film and Television Awards.

Seven talented Nigerians have received nods – Alexx Ekubo, Anthony Monjaro, Femi Jacobs, and O.C Ukeje were all nominated for the Favorite Male African International Rising Screen Talent award while Adepero Oduye, Linda Ejiofor and Damilola Adegbite are up for the Favorite Female African International Rising Talent award.

The Nigerian actors however have tough competition from Ghanaian hunk Chris Attoh who’s also nominated in the same category. Same goes for the female category as talk of the moment, ’12 Years of a Slave’ star Lupita Nyong’o is also nominated for the same award.

The awards show will hold on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Plaza Riverbank, Albert Embankment, London..
