The controversial deadline for resumption given to the striking university lecturers by the Federal
Government has been extended.
According to reports, the FG moved the deadline forward from December 4 to December 9.
The ultimatum was revised by government in order to enable the lecturers pay final respects to former president of the Academic Staff Union ofUniversities (ASUU), Festus Iyayi, whose funeral has been slated for December 5 – 7.
