After plenty of speculation surrounding the late Paul Walker's death, CNN reports that the L.A. County Coroner's Office has released a statement regarding the Nov. 30 crash and the star's official cause of death. Walker, who was 40 at the time of his death, passed away due to a combination of "traumatic and thermal injuries."
This means that the impact of the crash did not solely kill the star, but the collision combined with the resulting fire ultimately ended his life. The driver, Walker's friend Roger Rodas, died upon impact and burning was not listed as a factor in his death.
Toxicology results for both men will be available in six to eight week and the Medical Examiner has ruled both deaths to be an accident.
