As part of their recent Billionaire Census, international wealth intelligence firm Wealth-X evaluated average property prices to find the most expensive streets in the world.
According to their census, the world's billionaires hold an average of $78 million worth of real estate. Keep reading to see the streets they choose to call home.

Number 10
10. Avenue Montaigne, Paris
Average price per square meter: $26,000
Who lives here: Marlene Dietrich (before her death in 1992)
This upscale street in the Champs-Elysees quarter is considered one of the world's top avenues for high fashion — Harry Winston, Christian Dior, and Salvatore Ferragamo all have locations here — but it's also one of the most exclusive residential neighbourhoods in the world.

9. Fifth Avenue, New York
Average price per square meter: $28,000
Who lives here: Bill Murray, Tom Brokaw
Fifth Avenue, especially the homes that front Central Park between 59th and 96th Streets, has long been a destination for the rich and famous. It's also home to every designer boutique imaginable and the Empire State Building, the Rockefeller Center, and, of course, the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store.

8. Ostozhenka, Moscow
Average price per square meter: $29,000
Who lives here: Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov
This street in downtown Moscow is at the center of Russian history, dining and luxury living. A five-level apartment on Ostozhenka Street once sold for $48 million, the most expensive exchange on this trendy avenue.

7. Romazzino Hill, Sardinia
Average price per square meter: $32,900
Who lives here: Saudi Arabian politician Ahmed Zaki Yamani, Russian oligarch Alexei Mordashov, royal family of Qatar
Romazzino Hill and its surrounding neighbourhood have been a playground for billionaires since the 1960s. In 2012, Italian industrialist Carlo de Benedetti sold his Villa Rocky Ram for a cool $148 million.

6. Chemin de Ruth, Geneva
Average price per square meter: $37,000
Who lives here: the Peugeot family, former French tennis player Henri Leconte, former French alpine skier Jean-Claude Killy
Many of the mansions on this stone street have swimming pools, landscaped gardens, and stunning views of nearby Lake Geneva and the United Nations buildings. Five properties on Chemin de Ruth sold for more than $13 million between 2008 and 2010.

5. Paterson Hill, Singapore
Average price per square meter: $42,500
Who lives here: Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin, former Miss Singapore Rachel Kum
Paterson Hill is a calm residential cul-de-sac close to the Orchard Road Shopping Belt, known for its designer stores and Michelin-starred restaurants. The most expensive apartment building on this glitzy street is the Marq, which has a unit designed entirely by Hermès.

4. Boulevard du Général de Gaulle, Cap Ferrat, France
Average price per square meter: $79,000
Who lives here: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Paul Allen, Charlie Chaplin (before his death in 1977)
Situated along the Mediterranean Côte d’Azur, the exclusive Cap Ferrat peninsula is the world's most expensive non-urban location. This street in particular is home to a number of sprawling beachfront villas.

3. Avenue Princess Grace, Monaco
Average price per square meter: $86,000
Who lives here: Andrea Bocelli, Roger Moore, Lewis Hamilton, Helena Christensen
Monaco fills up with billionaires during the F1 Grand Prix each May, but many wealthy people live here year-round. The Avenue Princess Grace runs along the waterfront and is the most exclusive street in Monaco. The Tour Odeon, a 168-metre luxury apartment building currently under construction on this street, will be the principality's tallest building when it's completed next year.

2. Kensington Palace Gardens, London
Average price per square metre: $107,000
Who lives here: Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (and Prince George), Lakshmi Mittal, Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich, Bernie Ecclestone's daughter Tamara
Though its most famous residents may be Will and Kate, this quiet tree-lined street is also where many embassies are located, including those from France, Russia and Japan. It's known as London's 'billionaires' row' for a reason.

1. Pollock's Path, The Peak, Hong Kong
Average price per square metre: $120,000
Who lives here: actor Stephen Chow, HSBC execs
Located on the top of a mountain that has historically been a haven for Hong Kong's wealthiest, the world's most expensive street boasts stunning views of the skyline and harbour. Hong Kong real estate records were shattered in 2011 when an apartment at the Sky High complex (10-18 Pollock's Path) sold for $103 million.
