New York-based Nigerian model Joan Caven has featured in one of Beyoncé‘s 17 new videos titled ‘Pretty Hurts‘.
Caven plays one of the many models in the beauty pageant scene of the video which generally tells the story of women subjecting themselves to the mental and physical pressure of looking slim and prim just to fill out the role of a model.
‘On the real, it was amazing working with this woman and her team and getting to meet her fam. Like wow‘, Caven says.
