OBIANO SALUTES OJUKWU,OBI,APGA,ANAMBRIANS
Anambra State Governor-elect, Chief Willie Obiano, has promised to improve on the record set by incumbent Governor, Peter Obi.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Obiano winner after polling 180,178 votes.
Tony Nwoye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 97,700 votes to be placed second, while Senator Chris Ngige of the All Progressives Congress (APC) coming third with 95,953 votes.
In the speech delivered from his Aguleri home, Obiano showered praises on late Chukuwemeka Ojukwu, Governor Peter Obi and APGA National Chairman, Victor Umeh.
Assuring the people that he will turn around the State, he called on them to join hands with him and “sustain the progress we have made these past eight years.”
He also extended a hand of fellowship to other candidates in the contest, seeking their support for his administration.
