10 THINGS TO LEARN FROM FERGIE'S AUTOBIOGRAPHY.

Sir Alex Ferguson's autobiograpy has been as enlightening as well as controversial. The book about Ferguson's life as a successful coach is now for sale.He wrote about Cristian Ronaldo,Wayne Rooney,David Beckham and coaches like Arsene Wenger and Rafal Benitez among others. We bring you 10 things we didn't know yesterday and have found out from the book.
1. Roy Keane savaged not just Alan Smith and Darren Fletcher - he also attacked Edwin Van der Sar, Kieran Richardson, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Rio Ferdinand.  He then went on to question Ferguson's role in the Rock of Gibralter stud rights controversy.

2. Ferguson wrote that "David Beckham thought he was bigger than Alex Ferguson" and that he believes the former midfielder made a mistake in chasing fame outside football.

3. Rooney told Ferguson to sign Mesut Ozil.  The fact the German went to Real Madrid rather than Old Trafford demonstrated that Man Utd lacked the ambition Rooney wanted them to show and lead to his first transfer request.

4. Ferguson was concerned with Rooney's fitness last season and repeats that the striker "asked away" the day after last season ended.

5. Rio Ferdinand's off-field behaviour frustrated Ferguson to the point that he asked the defender about his meeting with P Diddy: "Is he going to make you a better centre half?"

6. Ferguson was offered the England job twice - by Martin Edwards and Adam Crozier - but turned down the position within ten seconds.

7. On seeing Paul Scholes as a thirteen year-old, Ferguson initially thought the player too small to make it as a professional footballer.

8. Upon the completion of the Glazers' takeover in 2005, Andy Walsh from IMUSA phoned Ferguson and told him he would have to resign.  The Scot was determined to continue, however, and upon meeting the new owners was reassured that he could work with them.

9. Pizzagate: although he doesn't know for sure who threw the pizza at him in the tunnel following his side's defeat of Arsenal in 2004, Ferguson was told the culprit was Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas.

10.David Beckham refused to remove his hat when asked because he was desperate to keep his haircut a secret prior to a match with Leicester.

A copy of the book is for sale at 25GBP but thank God an not a United Fan.
