Following her performance to celebrate the release of her new album, Prism, at the iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank, Calif., Perry answered fans' questions during a Q&A session with Mario Lopez-- when one curious attendee asking her what she keeps in her purse.
She said "One of the first times I went to the Grammys,I got to share a dressing room with Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift," the 28-year-old singer responded of her pop superstar peers, who are 20 and 23 respectively."And I asked for a lock of their hair from each one of them,which is totally creepy, but awesome."
Dressed in a silver leotard worn under a sheer dress and chunky heels,the "Roar"crooner divulged that she "put little bows on [the locks] individually" and kept them in her purse!"That was my little secret," she said."I'm a freak!"
The entire celebration, which was streamed live online,included additional revelations like how Cyrus is the most famous pal among Perry's phone contacts. She also shared being in love throughout the celebratory event, although she failed to mention her boyfriend John Mayer by name (he was in Amsterdam performing Tuesday night).
Mayer, by the way, famously and briefly dated Swift back in 2010,who later bashed the failed relationship in her single, "Dear John."
