A PEEK INTO NEWLYWED KELLY CLARKSON'S NEW $2.8 MILLION LOVE ABODE

Kelly Clarkson just treated herself to one heck of a bridal present. The "People Like Us" singer, who married Brandon Blackstock last week in a small yet beautiful country wedding ceremony, has settled into a new home there with her hubby.

The $2.86 million gated estate is in Hendersonville, Tennessee, about 20 minutes northeast of Music City. The house — which is at the end of a looong driveway and was completed in 2007 — sits on over four acres and has panoramic views of the picturesque Cumberland River.

The mansions in Hendersonville,Tennessee.
Photos of the manse on Zillow make it clear that the newlyweds won't ever have to bicker over tight living quarters. The residence, which has been on the market since 2009 (they got a deal — the original asking price was $4,999,000!), is a sprawling 17,321 square feet with a very grand entranceway, featuring two curving staircases, giving it a "Gone With the Wind" vibe. Other impressive features include a home theater for snuggly date nights, a gym for his and her sweat sessions, and a private dock, so they can take canoe trips and recreate their adorable wedding video during which he was seen paddling her around.

When it comes to laying their heads down at night, the newlyweds have their choice of seven bedrooms. And while that sounds like a lot, they could fill up quickly! Brandon already has two children from his first marriage (Savannah, 12, and Seth, 6) and he and Kelly have said that they want to have their own brood — ASAP.
"Brandon's such a great dad … and I love [his children]," she  said a right before her wedding. "We've been living together for over a year, I'm so used to having kids in the house now, that I'm like, 'I want a baby.' So I'm making him start right away."
Kelly also told us she loves doing homework and playing games with her stepkids. The house is perfect for both! It features a rec room for playtime and a choice of areas, including a luxe family room or walnut-paneled library, for schoolwork.

The southern abode has nine and a half bathrooms as well, but none as spectacular as the master bath. The bathtub is in the center of the round room, which also features a lounging area and plenty of space to get ready for any local red carpet events.

While the home is a new addition to Kelly's real estate portfolio, she isn't new to the Nashville area. She also owns a condo within the city limits, which she bought last year for $837,500, according to Zillow. Before that, she lived on a ranch in Mansfield, Texas, which she put on the market after meeting Brandon, falling head over heels, and relocating to be with him full-time.

Kelly's new neighborhood has long been a fave with local singers. Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash called Hendersonville home, as did Roy Orbison and Conway Twitty.Today many celebs call the extended Nashville area home — from Taylor Swift, who has a penthouse apartment in The Adelicia complex downtown (Hayden Panettiere also lives in the building) to other residents like Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley,Jack White, and Sheryl Crow, to name a few.
