FUSE ODG WINS AT THE 18TH EDITION OF THE MOBO AWARD AS WIZ KID,ICE PRINCE,TIWA SALVAGE AND SEUN KUTI LOST OUT


Ghanian singer,Fuse ODG won the best African act at the 18th edition of the MOBO award held last night in Glasgow.It was the third time the Mobo Awards have been held in Glasgow and the first time at the £125 million Hydro which opened with a series of Rod Stewart gigs less than a month ago.


Laura Mvula and Naughty Boy were the big winners at this year's MOBO Awards ceremony.Beating nominees Disclosure, Naughty Boy, Rudimental and Wretch 32, best male act went to Wiley.Mvula took home best female act - competing against Jessie J, Jessie Ware, Lianna La Havas and Rita Ora - as well as best RnB/soul act.

Naughty Boy's single La La La featuring Sam Smith won best song and best video. Tinie Tempah was awarded best UK hip-hop/grime act accolade and best gospel act went to Lurine Cato.


Rudimental won best album for their debut Home and best African act went to Fuse ODG. Krept and Konan won best newcomer.

Sons Of Kemet won best jazz act and Sean Paul was named best reggae act.See full list of winners below;
